Arapahoe Basin firing their snow gun
Loveland started making snow on September 21st and Arapahoe Basin followed soon after on the 23rd. Last year, both the resorts opened on the same day on October 15th, so hopefully they open again around there, or even better, earlier! According to Arapahoe Basin, "Opening day has not been set as of this date and will depend upon weather and snowmaking efforts." Loveland hasn't announced a possible opening date yet, but they did throw this video up on their website of someone moving a snow gun down the mountain. You can see that Loveland is getting quite covered... giggity.
