There's a handful of other jibs set up, and a jump but the jump sucks. Almost everyone barely cleared it, even when straightlining it.
As for the mountain itself, on opening day the snow was great, tons of little rollers to ollie off, top part was windy but not too icy or bad. However, yesterday, the snow was worse since it was a Saturday and everyone with a pass came out. There was definitely a crowd compared to Friday, when the longest I waited in the line was 2 minutes. There were a lot of people who didn't know how to use a chairlift... the chairlift stopped like 6 times at one point when I was on it. Also, a lot of people were falling-leaf down on snowboards, so the top part was extremely icy, and the second half was icy, but not as bad as the top.
Saturday was also the start of the Capita demo days (I know, I was supposed to be at Loveland, but I wanted to save my money and go to Copper instead. I can always demo the GNUs through my shop). I was pretty disappointed with Capita's availability of boards and bindings. They only had the Space Metal Fantasy in one size, a 147, and it was out the whole day. They didn't have any other womens boards available, no Midnight or Saturnia. The mens board choices were more abundant but still limited. They didn't have the Horrorscope in the 140s size, or any other mens boards in that range. They had Union bindings available for demo, but no womens models at all. Disappointing! Otherwise, Copper is pretty fun, I'm going again today! Hopefully that Space Metal is available today for me to try out.
